To be faithful in keeping our Building & Grounds in good condition, some of the projects completed in 2016 were:
Stopping a massive water leak from the backflow valve. This required the installation of a new updated version.
The installation of a new heating and air conditioner unit was completed in the CFC. Since there are two units in that building, there may be a need to replace another unit in the future.
The parking lot lighting was improved by the installation of 12 new LED flood lights.
A new exterminator service as investigated and hired.
To help prevent possible falls, part of the patio was replaced in the front of the church.
Trees on the patio area were treated for an aphid infestation.
Four new benches were installed on the patio area. This project was a great time of fellowship with the following workers: Jim Sparks, Dick Fisher, Terry Nash, Keith Lentz, Doug Nehrenz and Dean McLean.
Since 2017 is the year of LVHPC’s 50th year celebration, there will be many opportunities for great fellowship as we make preparations.
