Purpose Statement: To be an encouragement to, and resource to the women of LVHPC, to provide opportunities to grow spiritually in Jesus Christ, build Christian friendships and equip women to perceive God's call, do His work and show Jesus' love through a variety of relational and hands-on ministries.
We were excited by all that happened in 2016 and look forward to all that will happen in 2017. Our ongoing ministries remain strong, healthy and growing.
◦ Ladies' Bible Study – Tuesday mornings
◦ Meals together
◦ Fall Retreat
◦ Christmas Fellowship and Cookie Exchange
Each of the above ministries is led or coordinated by women who have a heart for ministry. A big thank you goes to these women for their heart, time, energy and love for our Lord and fellow women on the journey.
The Tuesday morning Bible study keeps growing with over 30 women! The Bible study includes a precious time of sharing our prayer concerns and praying for what has been shared. Service, study and community together all are so important in our lives. Intergenerational relationships are Biblical and so valuable. Not everyone can come each week but all are welcome.
Our on-site retreat, Sweet Life Cafe, focused on our walk and time with God and each other. 55 women enjoyed laughter, talking, scripture, praying, reflecting, and eating together during this wonderful weekend. We are so blessed to have so many talented women within our church to lead the sessions and worship and coordinate the retreat and provide the delicious meals. We plan to do another retreat in the first weekend of November 2017. Save the date!
We would welcome your leadership, ideas or areas of giftedness. If you have thoughts, visions, ideas or talents to share for us please let us know!
We would encourage all women to participate and enjoy some of these ministries with the additional hope that relationships develop and deepen as we grow together as followers of Christ.
